Yale Greenspoon Provided a Solid Foundation

Yale L. Greenspoon, Esq. graduated from Rutgers Law School in 1969 and was a Law Clerk for the Honorable T. James Tumulty, J.S.C.(deceased) in the Essex County Superior Court.  Thereafter, he served as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender, also in Essex County. After leaving the Public Defender’s Office, he was a partner in two law firms prior to establishing his own law practice. In 1995, his wife, Elissa Greenspoon, joined his firm and the Law Office of Yale L. Greenspoon became Greenspoon & Greenspoon.

 

Yale L. Greenspoon had a successful career as a trial attorney and has tried hundreds of criminal and civil cases during his 50-year career. He also has several published Appellate Division decisions.  He remains an emeritus member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. 

 

Yale has also represented many local boards in Springfield, New Jersey, including the Springfield Board of Education, the Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Board of Health and the Rent Leveling Board. He has also previously served twice as the Springfield Prosecutor.

 

Yale is a member of MENSA and was the Central New Jersey Chapter attorney for many years. He was the coach for the Jonathan Dayton High School Mock Trial Team for approximately 20 years, as well as a former president of the Springfield Lodge of B’nai B’rith.  He has also volunteered for Partners for Women and Justice and the Union County Early Settlement Panel.
